EnCOMPASS helps to link older people from diverse cultures with the services they need to live their best lives – at home and in the community.

How do we help?

Our EnCOMPASS Connectors assist older people to:

• understand the range of services available so they can make informed decisions about their care
• register with My Aged Care
• communicate their needs in their own language to aged care assessors and service providers
• access aged care supports which are right for them

How is support provided?

Our Connectors provide free information and support in the older person’s preferred language.

We can talk in person, over the phone or at community information sessions.

Who can we help?

We can assist people aged 65 and older from non-English speaking backgrounds, living in:

• Western Adelaide
• Adelaide Hills
• Southern Fleurieu Peninsula
• Riverland and Murray Mallee

Support is also available to carers and families.

The EnCOMPASS program is delivered by the Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia (FECCA) and funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health. For more, visit fecca.org.au/encompass.
