Life at Hawksbury Gardens
All our residents can enjoy a diverse activities program along with exercise, concerts, shopping, relaxation, bus trips, music, gardening and craft. Meals are cooked fresh on-site and there’s even an on-site hairdresser.
An expansion of Hawksbury Gardens has recently been completed, winning an Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) award for Excellence in Aged Care (SA). The redevelopment includes 26 new bedrooms with private bathrooms, a new kitchen, communal areas, laundry and dining room.

ACAT Assessment Process
Before you can move into a Residential Aged Care community or access Respite Care, you’ll need to apply for what’s known as an ACAT assessment.
This is arranged by My Aged Care, an information service run by the Australian Government.
