The COVID-19 situation across our Aged Care homes remains stable, which is significant considering the widespread impact the virus is having right across the Aged Care sector.

Thank you to our Aged Care teams, residents, families and friends for continuing to adhere to COVID-19 preventative measures. They are vitally important to protect the health and safety of the entire UnitingSA community, and in particular, the older people within our care.

A reminder that the State Government’s booster vaccine mandate for visitors came into effect on Saturday (29 January 2022). All visitors to Aged Care homes must now show evidence of a booster vaccine, a booking to receive one within four weeks of eligibility, or a valid medical exemption. If you are yet to provide evidence to your home, please bring it the next time you visit.

Further information about the State Government’s booster vaccine mandate is available in the Emergency Management (Residential Aged Care Facilities No 46) (COVID-19) Direction 2022.
