We are writing to provide you with a COVID-19 update for UnitingSA West Lakes Aged Care.
Results from yesterday’s PCR testing are all negative. There are currently two residents who remain COVID-positive, following the clearance of two residents earlier today.
Our COVID-positive residents are both on Level 2 and remain isolated in their room with regular wellbeing checks.
Due to the decrease in cases we are pleased to inform you Level 2 has now reopened to visitors. This means all of UnitingSA West Lakes Aged Care is now open.
In further good news, visitor restrictions at all UnitingSA Aged Care homes will be eased from Tuesday, 14 June 2022, as follows:
- Visitors are welcome between 10am and 8pm seven days a week, with no bookings required
- There are no restrictions on the number of visitors allowed per resident or the duration of visits
- A negative Rapid Antigen Test must be undertaken prior to visiting
- The COVID-19 screening QR process must be completed upon arrival
Rapid Antigen Tests must still be undertaken and are available for collection from reception during business hours. Families and friends are also reminded to continue wearing masks, practicing good hand hygiene and observing social distancing to help protect the health and wellbeing of our residents.
If you have any questions in the interim, please speak to a member of your care team. Contact details for all of our Aged Care homes can be found on our Contact page.
Thank you for your continued cooperation. We look forward to seeing friends and families reunite.
