We wish to provide you with an update on the COVID-19 situation at West Lakes Aged Care.
We currently remain at four COVID-positive residents, with no further cases detected since our update late yesterday (Monday, 9 May 2022).
All COVID-positive residents are situated on Level 3, which has been closed to visitors as we continue to closely monitor the situation.
The following measures are also in place on Level 3:
- Residents are encouraged to remain in their room.
- Only staff zoned to this floor are permitted to enter the area.
- Staff are wearing full PPE (goggles, gowns, gloves and masks).
- Additional staff have been deployed to offer support during this time.
All West Lakes Aged Care residents have undertaken PCR testing today, and family members will be notified directly if their loved one returns a positive result.
