Staff member at West Lakes Aged Care tests positive

We are writing to inform you a staff member tested positive to COVID-19 late yesterday (Thursday, 12 May 2022).

This brings the total number of COVID-positive cases at West Lakes Aged Care to six.

Level 3 remains closed to visitors and we continue to monitor the situation closely. The rest of West Lakes Aged Care is open to visitors.

All residents will undertake a further round of PCR testing tomorrow (Saturday, 14 May 2022).

Family members will be notified directly if their loved one returns a positive result.

We will provide a further update on Monday, 16 May 2022.
