We are writing to inform you that a COVID-19 case has been detected at Wesley House Aged Care.
The COVID-positive resident is located in the Falie East wing, which has now been closed to visitors.
The case was detected through Rapid Antigen Testing today. The affected resident was deemed a close contact prior to testing positive and has been isolating in their room since Sunday, 15 May 2022.
We are now working closely with SA Health, with PCR testing of residents in the Falie East wing expected to take place tomorrow (Thursday, 19 May 2022).
The rest of Wesley House Aged Care remains open. The following restrictions continue to be in place:
- A limit of two visitors per day, with a single visit of up to one hour
- All visits must:
- Be pre-booked via phone or email between 8.30am and 4pm.
- Take place between 10am and 4pm daily, or 6pm and 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Occur in the resident’s room or in an outside area
We will provide you with a further update tomorrow.
