It gives us great pleasure to inform you that the Jervois wing will reopen to visitors at 10am on Monday, 25 April 2022.
We currently have four COVID-positive residents at Wesley House.
This follows the identification of a new COVID-positive resident in the Lipson wing today, and a resident from the Jervois wing being cleared after reaching the end of their infectious period.
A further two residents from Jervois are expected to be cleared on Sunday, which will allow us to reopen this wing.
The two COVID-positive residents from the Lipson wing remain in quarantine, with a small section of the wing closed to visitors.
While we look forward to reopening our Jervois wing to visitors on Monday, we remain mindful that the situation can quickly change. If further cases are identified over the weekend, we will keep you informed, and notify family and friends via text message.
The following visitor restrictions remain in place:
- A limit of one visitor per day, with a single visit of up to one hour
- All visits must:
- Be pre-booked via phone or email between 8.30am and 4pm, seven days.
- Take place between 10am and 4pm daily, or 6pm and 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Occur in the resident’s room
