We are writing to provide you with a COVID-19 update for Westminster Village Aged Care.
We remain at 20 COVID-positive residents, who are located in Tennyson, Largs and West Beach wings.
In line with SA Health advice, PCR testing is now being undertaken by residents every 48 hours. Testing has taken place today, and the next round will occur on Sunday.
All of Westminster Village Aged Care remains closed to visitors.
Additional staff have been deployed to offer extra support to residents during this time, and we will continue to provide regular health and wellbeing checks.
The following measures remain in place:
- Residents are encouraged to remain in their room, with meal deliveries and regular wellbeing checks
- Only staff zoned to each wing are permitted to enter the area
- Staff are wearing full PPE (goggles, gowns, gloves and masks)
