We are pleased to inform you that the COVID-19 situation at Seaton Aged Care took a significant step forward over the weekend.

Almost all residents who previously tested positive to COVID-19 have now been cleared by SA Health as they have reached the end of their seven-day infectious period and are no longer symptomatic.

These residents are returning to their rooms today, while we expect that the remaining two COVID-positive residents will be cleared by next weekend.

The two COVID-positive residents include an individual who tested positive on Saturday, 26 March 2022.

In further news, nine of our 10 COVID-positive team members have now been cleared and are able to return to work.

The Australian Defence Force personnel who have been supporting our COVID-19 response will be leaving Seaton Aged Care today. We were very fortunate to access this support and have received a great deal of positive feedback regarding their contribution.

PCR testing of residents is occurring again today, and a deep clean of the home will be undertaken.

We hope to be in a position very soon where we are able to safely welcome visitors back into our home.

Thank you again for your understanding and support throughout this period. We look forward to reuniting you with your family and friends soon.

We will provide a further update tomorrow, however in the meantime if you have any questions please speak with a member of your care team. Contact details for all of our Aged Care homes can be found on our contact page.
