We are writing to provide you with an update on the COVID-19 situation at Wesley House Aged Care.

There is now one remaining COVID-positive resident at Wesley House, after a resident was cleared earlier today.

The positive resident is isolating in the Lipson wing, with a small section of the wing remaining closed to visitors.

We are pleased to inform you that all staff continue to test negative, and the rest of the home remains open to visitors.

PCR testing of residents is being undertaken by SA Health again today.

Finally, we would like to take a moment to acknowledge the entire Wesley House Aged Care team for their ongoing efforts to contain this outbreak. We commend all team members for their strict adherence to infection control practices, which has been pivotal in limiting the spread and impact of COVID-19.

As always, we appreciate the continued support and patience of our residents, families and friends as we implement our outbreak response plan.

We will provide a further update on Monday.

If you have any questions in the interim, please speak to a member of your care team. Contact details for all of our Residential Aged Care homes can be found on our Contact page.
