It gives us great pleasure to inform you that all UnitingSA Aged Care homes are now open to visitors, following the reopening of Hawksbury Gardens Aged Care in Salisbury North this morning.

The reopening of Hawksbury Gardens follows a comprehensive risk assessment by UnitingSA’s Aged Care leadership team, in line with SA Health’s ‘Interim guidance for COVID-19 outbreak management’.

There are currently no active COVID-19 cases among residents or staff at the site, which after the challenges of recent weeks is a wonderful outcome.

The fact all of our homes are now operating under UnitingSA’s Phase 2 Prevention Plan is testament to the hard work of our teams and the diligence of residents, family and friends in adhering to COVID-19 restrictions.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our entire Aged Care community for your incredible efforts over recent months, as we have worked together to ensure the health and safety of everyone in our care.
