We are pleased to advise that the Covid-19 situations at both Hawksbury Gardens and Wesley House Aged Care have now been resolved. In further good news, Tennyson and Semaphore wings at Westminster Village Aged Care have reopened to visitors. Cases at our other homes also continue to decline.

HAWKSBURY GARDENS AGED CARE

Positive case/s: Zero
Exposure details: The remaining four Covid-positive residents have now been cleared. The outbreak at Hawksbury Garden Aged Care is now over.
Site status: All of Hawksbury Gardens Aged Care is open to visitors.
Testing: There are no new positive results to report. PCR testing has ceased. Staff will continue to monitor residents for symptoms and undertake Rapid Antigen Tests if required. As the situation has been resolved, we will now stop issuing these updates to Hawksbury Gardens’ families, friends and residents.

WESLEY HOUSE AGED CARE

Positive case/s: Zero
Exposure details: The last Covid-positive resident in Falie wing has now been cleared. The outbreak at Wesley House Aged Care is now over.
Site status: All of Wesley House Aged Care remains open.
Testing: There are currently no further rounds of PCR testing scheduled. Staff will continue to monitor residents for symptoms and undertake Rapid Antigen Tests if required. As the situation has been resolved, we will now cease providing these regular updates to Wesley House families, friends and residents.

WESTMINSTER VILLAGE AGED CARE

Positive case/s: Nine
Exposure details: Eight residents were cleared over the weekend. There are now two Covid-positive residents in West Beach wing, two in Semaphore wing, one in Tennyson wing and four in Henley Beach.
Site status: Tennyson and Semaphore wings are now open to visitors. All Covid-positive residents are isolating in their rooms. The rest of Westminster Village Aged Care is open.
Testing: There were two new positive cases detected through PCR testing undertaken on Friday. The two Covid-positive cases are residents in Henley Beach wing. The residents are isolating in their rooms. The next round of testing will be undertaken for all residents tomorrow.

UNITINGSA WEST LAKES AGED CARE

Positive case/s: One
Exposure details: There is one positive resident on Level 3, who remains isolating in their room.
Site Status: All of UnitingSA West Lakes Aged Care is open to visitors.
Testing: There are no more rounds of PCR testing scheduled. Staff will continue to monitor residents for symptoms and undertake Rapid Antigen Tests if required.
