We wish to inform you there have been no further COVID-19 cases detected among residents at UnitingSA West Lakes Aged Care.
The total number of COVID-positive residents remains at five.
One further staff member has tested positive, taking the total number of COVID-positive staff to two. The positive cases among staff are not believed to be related to the current outbreak, rather community transmission.
Level 3 remains closed to visitors, with a further round of PCR testing to be undertaken tomorrow.
The UnitingSA West Lakes Aged Care team continues to receive a high number of calls, as they respond to the current COVID-19 situation.
While team members endeavour to respond in a timely manner, in some cases, there may be a delay as the team continues to prioritise the care and wellbeing of residents.
Accordingly, family and friends are strongly encouraged to utilise the home’s main email address (westlakes@unitingsa.com.au) for non-urgent matters.
