We are writing to provide you with an update on the COVID-19 situation at Wesley House Aged Care.

We now have four COVID-positive residents, after two residents were cleared earlier today and a further positive case was detected.

Three of the COVID-positive residents are located in the Jervois wing, while the fourth COVID-positive resident is in the Lipson wing. The Jervois wing will remain closed until further notice, while the rest of the facility is open to visitors.

We would also like to inform you that a small number of team members have tested positive for COVID-19, with some results delayed due to the Easter long weekend. All affected team members have been isolating.

PCR testing is being carried out at Wesley House Aged Care again today.

All staff will continue to undertake a Rapid Antigen Test at the beginning of each shift.

We will provide you with a further update tomorrow (Friday, 21 April 2022).

In the meantime, if you have any questions, please speak with a member of your care team.
