We are writing to update you on the COVID-19 situation at Wesley House Aged Care.
There are now two COVID-positive residents at Wesley House.
This follows a resident testing positive on Saturday (26 April 2022), and three residents being cleared.
Two residents in the Jervois wing were cleared on Saturday, while a COVID-positive resident from the Lipson wing was cleared today.
Both remaining COVID-positive residents are located within the Lipson wing in the same isolated area. This small section of the Lipson wing will remain closed until further notice.
We are pleased to advise that all staff continue to test negative, and the rest of Wesley House Aged Care remains open to visitors.
PCR testing for residents will continue, with the next round of testing to occur tomorrow (Wednesday, 27 April 2022).
Visitors are reminded the following restrictions remain in place:
- A limit of one visitor per day, with a single visit of up to one hour
- All visits must:
- Be pre-booked via phone or email between 8.30am and 4pm.
- Take place between 10am and 4pm daily, or 6pm and 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
