Community Housing
UnitingSA Kidman Park
UnitingSA’s new community housing project at Kidman Park has been completed.
Following the successful development of six properties at Kidman Park in 2018, UnitingSA Housing has added five new three-bedroom townhouses on an adjacent street, providing further affordable housing in Adelaide’s west.
The development is ideally located in an established community within a short walk from schools, shops and public transport. Each home features a solar system to keep energy costs low for tenants.
UnitingSA Housing partnered with SA Housing Authority (now SA Housing Trust) to complete this development.
Affordable and Social Housing
UnitingSA Kidman Park provides new affordable and social rental homes for people on low incomes, including families and young people, with rent capped at 75 per cent of market value.
For Social Housing, rent is based on approximately 25 per cent of household income for people on very low incomes.
