Hawksbury Gardens Aged Care

8 Elmgrove Road, Salisbury North

Joining Hawksbury Gardens Aged Care means becoming part of a close-knit community alongside 89 others your age in Adelaide’s north.

Life at Hawksbury Gardens

All our residents can enjoy a diverse activities program along with exercise, concerts, shopping, relaxation, bus trips, music, gardening and craft. Meals are cooked fresh on-site and there’s even an on-site hairdresser.

An expansion of Hawksbury Gardens has recently been completed, winning an Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) award for Excellence in Aged Care (SA). The redevelopment includes 26 new bedrooms with private bathrooms, a new kitchen, communal areas, laundry and dining room.

Priority access.

Residential care applications are reviewed when a vacancy arises. Accommodation is offered to the applicant considered to be in greatest need.

After a short-term option?

High and low level Respite Care can be provided for up to 63 days per year. Prospective respite residents must have current ACAT respite approval.

Respite guests at our Residential Aged Care communities enjoy their own private room and ensuite.

Guests dine with the residents and become part of the resident family.

UnitingSA supports individuals to live the life that they choose.

While UnitingSA does not provide voluntary assisted dying services in Residential Aged Care, we uphold the rights and dignity of eligible South Australians who decide to access voluntary assisted dying in accordance with the South Australian Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2021.

We will continue to provide compassion and care to those exploring the available options.
