Brett

Support Worker

Hi I’m Brett. I’m in my late 40s and I’ve been working in the NDIS for four years in a variety of roles.
In June 2023, I started as the Senior Support Worker for the Adelaide Metropolitan Area.

I have been playing music for over 35 years and play in bands in my spare time as well as write electronic music.
My first long-term NDIS employment was at Pride Vic Disability Service, which is a dedicated LGBTQIA+ support organisation.

I really enjoy working with everyone that I get to meet through my supports and I love working with the UnitingSA NDIS team.

Nobody can do everything but everyone can do something.

UnitingSA relies on the generosity of donors to help deliver innovative programs and support for people in need across metropolitan and regional South Australia.

“I was feeling depressed and anxious before coming to Taperoo Community Centre and now I feel as though I belong for the first time in my life. The classes have helped me believe in myself and that I am capable of learning.”
