We’ve got your answers

We understand it can be difficult to navigate the changing disability support system so our staff are ready to help you.

We can provide information on eligibility and pre-planning and once you have your NDIS plan we can discuss how the NDIS services provided by UnitingSA may support you.

Our friendly staff are available weekdays from 9am – 5pm to speak with you about the support and information we can provide.

Alternatively fill in the NDIS enquiry form here.

Disability Royal Commission

We are committed to work with the Disability Royal Commission and encourages people with disability, their families, support people, organisations and the broader community to share their experiences living with a disability. Find out more in this factsheet or click here for the easy read version.

Should UnitingSA receive a request to contribute to the Disability Royal Commission through the provision of information and documentation, we are fully committed to working with the Royal Commission openly and transparently to realise the fundamental human rights of people with disability.

NDIS Peer Support Program

The NDIS Peer Support Program provides recovery-oriented psychosocial support within the NDIS environment. This program is delivered using a 100 per cent lived experience team and addresses support gaps that people with a psychosocial disability experienced transitioning to the NDIS.

Translated NDIS Information

Australians from a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background have a lower participation rate in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

UnitingSA is seeking to raise awareness about the NDIS and other disability services among people from multicultural backgrounds.

These translated fact sheets have been developed to provide language-specific information to help CALD communities get started with the NDIS.

NDIS UnitingSA Price Guide

The UnitingSA NDIS Price Guide (currently under review) outlines NDIS supports which UnitingSA is registered to provide and their corresponding prices.

Other supports may be provided if staffing and facilities become available. Please contact UnitingSA for National Very Remote Services as this Price Guide does not include details.

Provision of NDIS services by UnitingSA will be dependent on:

  • The ability to match worker skills and experience with the support requirements
  • Organisational capacity at the time of the enquiry

The NDIS UnitingSA Price Guide is subject to change. Please refer to the NDIS Price Guides and Information webpage for the most up-to-date NDIS Price Guide and more details.

Nobody can do everything but everyone can do something.

UnitingSA relies on the generosity of donors to help deliver innovative programs and support for people in need across metropolitan and regional South Australia.

“I am so grateful I was able to move into a pet-friendly room at Regency Green Multicultural Aged Care. Whether I am going to a film or knitting or craft, my dog Bruce is always able to come. It really is wonderful.”
