“I was in such a dark place for years and my mental health issues meant I couldn’t see anything straight. With the help of my support worker, I started to feel comfortable in my own skin and now I am even working again. I will always remember how I recovered with the help I received through UnitingSA.”

Hiroko,
Received support from Mental Health Services

UnitingSA, formerly UnitingCare Wesley Port Adelaide, was established in 1919 and provides housing, aged care and community services to support people across regional and metropolitan South Australia. More than 1000 employees and volunteers deliver high quality services to people from diverse backgrounds to realise UnitingSA's vision of a compassionate, respectful and just community in which all people participate and flourish.

At UnitingSA, we recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Australians. We acknowledge their ongoing custodianship of the lands and waters on which we live, work and pursue our reconciliation vision.
