UnitingSA has appointed Helen Sheppard as its new Chief Executive Officer. Helen will commence on 9 November 2026.

If you’ve ever been curious about how UnitingSA supports people, take a moment to read this letter from Mark*, who recently shared his gratitude for the support he received through our financial counselling services.

Between them, Andrew and Khoi, have over 30 years of employment with Wesley Social Enterprises (WSE).

As Meghan sets about rebuilding her life, she’s re-igniting passions that had been dampened by the trauma she has experienced.

Audrey, who resides at UnitingSA’s West Lakes Aged Care, heads out with her walker at the same time each day, completing a two-hour walk every morning.

After 41 years in the television industry, Andrew has joined UnitingSA as a Support Worker – and he couldn’t be happier!
“I was feeling depressed and anxious before coming to Taperoo Community Centre and now I feel as though I belong for the first time in my life. The classes have helped me believe in myself and that I am capable of learning.”
