UnitingSA welcomes the Federal Government’s announcement that it will invest an additional $115 million to deliver more aged care beds through the Aged Care Capital Assistance Program (ACCAP).

Uniting on Hawker will feature 30 apartments across two levels. The development consists of 24 social and 6 affordable housing apartments.

UnitingSA now has over 150 Retirement Living properties thanks to the acquisition of 16 apartments at Spence on Light in Adelaide’s CBD.

Support at Home is designed to help older people live independently at home for as long as they can by offering a range of wrap-around supports.

For 50 years, multiple generations of the Gibson family have lived at UnitingSA’s Westminster Village at Grange.

UnitingSA runs four groups in the Riverland region that provide social support for people over 65: a group for people of Turkish heritage, one for Italians, another for Greeks, and the aptly-named “Spice Girls.”
“I was feeling depressed and anxious before coming to Taperoo Community Centre and now I feel as though I belong for the first time in my life. The classes have helped me believe in myself and that I am capable of learning.”
